This iconic design was created by Van Day Truex, the mastermind behind 20th century American design and the leader of Parsons School of Design. He even served as design director at Tiffany & Co in 1955! Truex was also known for his passion for renovating and redecorating homes in both New York and Provence, which he continued to do even while working at Tiffany's.
