Learn more. It took about 11 plastic bottles to knit this pair of shoes. In 2022, Rothy’s factory workshop achieved LEED Gold certification, and Rothy’s factory offices achieved LEED Platinum. In 2023, Rothy’s factory aims to be TRUE-certified for zero waste. Slip out insoles. Pop shoes and insoles into the washing machine. Use cold water, mild detergent and the delicate cycle. No heat, please—always let your shoes air dry. Fully machine washable, so they’re like new again and again. Shoes are in very good condition very clean, no rips, light wear on the insoles I have hand washed the shoes and will clean the bottom sole before shipping.
