Rosenthal calls this platter "oval" although it is clearly more of a geometric shape. Designed by Tapio Wirkkala A true MCM design Was sold between 1977 and 1991 - is discontinued now Description: Polygon, Cobalt Blue Circles Crafted in Germany Pre-loved. No noted cracks or repairs. There is a small dot/indention near the border of the platter. This is part of the manufacturing process. Please note - there are some scratches on the platter from normal use. The last couple of photos are my attempt to capture the scratches. The platter has to be at just the right angle to see.
