Rose of Sharon

There's a story behind this Rose of Sharon. She is a fighter. 🌱 You see, she had to be moved in order for us to cut down a giant oak tree before he split and created a disaster. 🚜 The mighty oak took several days to remove and the Rose of Sharon quietly sat in a shady spot with her roots wrapped in sheets soaked with water. Finally the day came to replant her back where she originally stood. 🪴 A landscaper friend advised us to cut her back to just a stump, saying she wouldn't likely keep her leaves or flower for a couple years. ✂️ We couldn't bear to cut her because she was simply perfect. That was last year. She kept her leaves, didn't bloom, but stood strong. 🪴 This year she hasn't stopped blooming! 🌸🌸🌸The bumble bees and butterflies are everywhere! 🐝🦋🐝🦋🐝 I share this to encourage you to take time to notice the little things God blesses you with, simply because He loves you. ❤️
