That's not it You need to clean the center caster wheel see how dirty it is That will affect the operation of your Roomba. Pop it out with your fingers by gently pulling then turn it over and pop the wheel completely out take out the spindle clean all of the hair and everything and it will work perfectly. I have been repairing these for about 7 years and that's obviously what's wrong with it The spindle has to be cleaned regularly that's the cinder wheel.
