Rolls Royce Merlin Piston Ashtray Royal Air Force RAF Winston Churchill Signed

Alloy ashtray converted from the piston head of a Rolls Royce Merlin engine. Bears an engraved excerpt from Churchill’s ‘Few’ speech, his signature and the RAF crest, with ‘Made in England’ on the underside. Approximately 5.25" across and 3/4" tall Some pitting as shown in the pictures. These ashtrays were made in limited numbers just after WW2 and sold to raise funds for the R.A.F. benevolent fund for Veterans and their families. Very hard to find.
