Rogers Smith Antique 4-Piece Silverplate Tea Set Pot Creamer Sugar Bowl

Beautiful Antique Sugar, Creamer and Coffee Pot Set by Rogers Smith Company. The set features four pieces - a creamer, sugar container with lid and a coffee pot with a hinged lid. The pieces are LARGE - probably for a big gathering as they hold more than the typical sugar and creamer set. Although the coffee part is not that large so it is for service only which should keep the hot liquids hot. The main pieces in the set have an ornate pattern etched on them - the lid has no etchings or monogram. The pattern features an ornate design design that looks like flower lily’s inside of curtain swags and as decor on the curtain itself. On the bottom are what look like a row of tiny etched tassels. The handles and the top of the lid are very ornate with openwork and curves that feature flower and leaf shapes - just beautiful. The feet on the pieces have shaped designs of a man’s face. This 4 piece silver plate set consists of a large sugar, creamer, lid and coffee or tea pot. Each is stamped on the bottom with ‘Aurora Warranted Triple Plate S.P. Mfg Co.’
