wonkysmom give me time for sunlight to get to closet. Im as confused as you. These belong to relative and now I'm not sure about how they are sized. will remeasure.

wonkysmom Been researching. Apparently this brand has there own sizing like Chicos. A 2.5 in Chicos is actually a 14. Looking at best info I can find the measurement is most reliable.

wonkysmom When you look at front rise # the waist on these jeans will actually be at hip level.

wonkysmom You put me on a research trip. My listing and responses are correct but confusing. These are cut to a 27" waist at normal waist line with a front rise of 11-12" The rise on these measures 8 which means the waist band would be 3 " below the normal waist. Looking at buyers size charts hip measurements for a 27 waist would be 32-34 depending on manufacturer, hence the 33 measurement. Thank you for making me confused enough to research the issue
