@palmert2t Good evening 🤗 I added some photos to the listing so you can see exactly how I measured so we get this right! Ill keep the dress handy in case you have more questions for me. Icdidctake a pit to pit approximately 19.5" so it's not going to prevent you from breathing or cut your arm pits. But I'm thinking that may be why the original owner used the dress tape. It was never altered previously, so if you had it taken in or hemmed, it would definitely be your dress!! ♥️ 🌺 Leslie 🐦 🌺 🐝
