This large decorative plate was made by Ridgewood Fine China in the USA in the 1970s. It is the COLONIAL HERITAGE SERIES PLATE, "Pennsbury Manor". The plate is 10.5 inches in diameter.
The lovely image is a copy of the original painting "Pennsbury Manor" by Robert Franke, and it is a limited edition, #50 of 9900. Trimmed in gold. In excellent vintage condition with no visible wear, cracks or chips. The plate looks like new.
Pennsbury Manor was the colonial estate of William Penn, founder of the state of Pennsylvania. It is now a state park and museum.
