sandrashugol What's it made of, and is it washable?

lcarpenter2017 @sandrashugol great question. IKEA's site states it's made of 100% recycled polyester and should be washed by hand. Material 100 % polyester (100% recycled) Care -Wash by hand, max 40°C. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dryclean.

sandrashugol What do you think would happen if I was to toss it in the washer and then let it air dry? Would it be destroyed? I don't always have the time to wash things by hand.
