The silk striped ribbon band is original and in lovely condition—as is the hat itself! It is by Dobbs Fifth Avenue, New York...tag reads, New York's leading hatters and Montego Planter style. It comes in a vintage octagonal hatbox with lid unmarked. As with all vintage straw hats, it needs handling with care and proper storage in its hat box…I did happily discover that the ribbon is removable! Nifty retro hat stays make it possible!
