byrd8694 Hi, the pen top has slight scratching but could be etching. The clip is perfect, no scratching. The ink is blue. I do not know the date of release on the pen. There are 3 faint blue dots along the pink barrel. The 3rd pic if you zoom in you can see 2 of them. Two by the edge of the pink towards the ink and under the XE in deluxe under Vintage Mickey. They are very faint, but I'd like to be honest. The pen is in great working condition.
