For your consideration is this adorable porcelain trinket box imported from China and distributed by Greenbrier International, Inc. Seller believes this to have been hit the retail market during the early to mid 2000s. It features a nicely molded little girl in the form of an angel holding up her hands as if she is praying. She reminds the seller of one of her childhood favorite books, The Littlest Angel by Charles Tazewell, even though the character in the book was a boy angel. Below her blue bodice is a ring of leaves over her long flowing looking skirt. There is a hinged gold-tone metal piece that allows the top of the piece to open up. Seller has bent the little bow back on the front so that it will hold the top and bottom frames closed. She is colored similar to Lladro and collectible Paul Sebastian pieces with light blues, cream and brown. The piece measures 2.6 inches in diameter x 5.5 inches tall, and weighs 7.8 ounces. Nice little trinket box to hold money and be given as a gift to your littlest angel.
Condition: Seller reset the little clasp so that it would hold firmly. No chips, cracks or crazing observed. Item has been steam cleaned.
