Is this new or used? Also, do the sides come out, so when unfolded, the top is wider and it tapers in downward so the bottom is smaller (v-shaped), or are they permanently folded in (making the shape more square-like)?

@bprl Yes, I see that is one of the new pics but the sides still look folded in (making an "m" shape vs. a "v" shape if looking down at the bag standing up (aerial view). Does that make sense?

@cjb515 if you look at the pictures closely you will see there is a center zip section and it is attached to the sides of the bag. The material is very supple so it is not structured.

@bprl Oh so I take it the center zip section isn't removable? I guess I'm looking to see if the sides can be fully extended out so the exposed sides/edge of the bag are the side seams. But it sounds like the side seams fold in attaching to the center section, which isn't removable?

The side seams are the exposed edge of the bag even at the very top of the bag? It looks like it's still folded in slightly bc it's attached to that center piece. But that center piece looks like it's removable (I see snaps or something), so I'm wondering if once it's removed, there is no folding on the sides at the top.
