Reposhing this item I purchased from @disconappy. Loved it, but ready to rotate for something new. Questions? Leave a comment below! This dress was to large in the bust and waist on me. I need a size 0 or 2. Pristine condition. No flaws For reference I am a 30b and 25 waist I am 5”2 and this kit at my upper ankles. Such a beautiful dress. I’m sad to let this one go.

infinitea Hi, do you mind if I ask what your bust size is? I have the same dress in size 2 and I’m trying to figure out if I can get away with a size 4 as well. Thanks!

thegypsycharmer Hi! Could you measure and let me know the max waist allowance? I’m a 27.5 and wondering if this will fit or be too tight, thanks!

thegypsycharmer @elisakaye thank you for your offer, and I’d truly love to consider it; but I really can’t move forward without knowing the waist measurement. I know that there is stretch in the back, so I’m not too concerned about the bust measurement, but the seam at the waist may be the dealbreaker. Can you let me know when you get a chance? Thanks you so much!!!

elisakaye @thegypsycharmer please refer to the reformation size guide on their website. Thank you.

thegypsycharmer Hi @elisakaye I am a Posh seller myself, so I totally understand the frustration when people ask for measurements and then don’t ultimately make the purchase. Truly. I really do. However there are certain brands that are wildly off on their posted size charts, which makes it difficult for buyers and sellers alike. I am an avid Reformation patron, and own things ranging from size 0 to size 8 that all fit me; which is just to show the unreliability and inconsistency of their sizing.

thegypsycharmer And yet, their generic online size chart is expected to apply to their entire brand across the board. Usually when I cannot purchase direct in store after trying something on, I often have to order multiple sizes and return what doesn’t fit. I am only saying all of this because their linen items are perhaps the most inconsistent. I own a pair of Vesta trousers in size 0 and the Hattie dress in size 6, both of which are linen and fit perfectly.

thegypsycharmer So while I know it’s inconvenient, this is an older style of dress no longer sold in stores, and so the only way to know the true waist is to get an actual measurement. Repeat Reformation buyers know that this is just one of those brands where, annoying as it is for all of us, their sizing charts unfortunately cannot be relied upon.

thegypsycharmer Thank you so much for hearing me out, and hopefully it’s not too much trouble to provide that measurement in the next few days. I appreciate and value your time, Isabel

elisakaye @thegypsycharmer I do not have a tape measure atm. I recommend referring to the companies size chart.
