This Little Girl's Red Smocked Dress is Wonderful! The dress is done in a gorgeous Red Bedford Cord (a flat pile corduroy that is much lighter in weight, making it perfect for most seasons.) The entire bodice is smocked with an Olive Green embroidered lattice design. Just above the waist, an Argyle pattern is done in a matching Green with White embroidery. White flowers with Red centers and Red and White Chevron patterns adorn the smocking also. Long sleeves gather with elastic at the wrist, leaving a ruffle hem. A single French Tuck adorns the bottom of the skirt. The back has an upper button closure with matching Red buttons. A tie-back sash makes for a perfect fit.
