Red Plaid Pendleton Cape / Vintage 70s NOS Gorgeous! One size Rare! Timeless !

Red Plaid Wool Cape from Pendleton Woolen Mills. An amazing find because it is brand new never worn NOS! New Old Stock in perfect condition! Please note: This is in brand new condition. In my opinion condition is extremely important in vintage clothing. I'm always delighted to find something so pristine. It has shiny midnight blue satin lining, buttons down the front, a generous collar, and armhole slits. There is an extra button sewn in at the hem. It falls gracefully from the shoulders to knee length and is super warm. There are 2 original labels. The Pendleton Woolen Mills Label and a Strouse & Bros Sports Town Shop Label from Evansville, Indiana. Measurements and size. This is a one size fits most garment. The shoulders are gently curved and slope over the wearers shoulders to fit 14” up to 18” wide shoulders, We tried cape on sizes 4, 8 and 12 and it works fine for all of them. It is generously full cut. I love the fact that capes can be worn over winter clothes like heavy sweaters or a blazer style jackets easily. Like most one size garments it fits a tall Size Small through Medium and Large size. I do not feel it would work on a tiny short woman or a Plus size.
