The 14" would be a true choker on most people. 15" makes it short but pendant hangs just a bit more relaxed. Photo shows a 16" chain. 16" is a good short length that isn't quite a choker. Measure a necklace you like for reference on your own neck. I added some in between lengths that usually aren't options. I will add a separate long necklace listing soon for longer lengths. Ball link necklace is silver toned brass , approx 1.5mm thick. I've always liked this style chain because my hair never gets caught in them like it does with regular chains and clasps.
