Red Maasai Multi Strand Beads-Standard Length

The Naapok bead project in Ketumbeine, North Maasailand, Tanzania provides 55 Maasai women with a small regular income who make and sell their beadwork. Each piece is done by hand with locally available glass beads, wire, and recycled plastic. This long-held tradition of beading is helping alleviate extreme poverty due to drought & land restrictions that impact on the Maasai's traditional nomadic herding life.
