Rebajes Copper Bracelet, Brazilian Masks, 1950s

This stunning copper bracelet is the work of Frank Rebajes, the Dominican-born artist who lived and worked in the U.S. from the 1930s - 1950s. His jewelry represents some of the finest in modernist design, and is popular with collectors. The design here is known as "Brazilian Masks." The bracelet measures about 6 1/2" including hardware x 1 5/8" wide. It is signed "Rebajes" on the left-most panel. Condition is generally excellent with light, age appropriate wear.
