This beautiful iridescent Metallic blue Morpho butterfly, also known as the Giant Blue Morpho, is mounted in a black 8″x8″ shadow box frame with a museums-style acid free parchment background. The genus, species and country of origin is scripted below the specimen. The Morpho butterfly is indigenous to the rainforests of Mexico, Central America and South America. The Morpho didius has wingspan up to 150mm making it one of the largest Morpho species. This specimen is is farm raised and responsibly sourced.
