Rare find working Apple iPod Classic 3rd generation a1040 40GB original box

Original box 2003 model A1040 iPod 3rd generation. Has original box and upgraded infrared dock with remote. Has to be reset to factory standard per Poshmark Policy, so all the songs and any info will be gone. Apple iPod Classic 3rd gen A1040 Very good condition. Back shows scratching but front click turn wheel and display look great. The front and sides have a faint scuffing that only shows in certain lighting. Screen displays is not as bright as it used to be, but still readable. Included: box, power adapter, cable, wired remote control, remote control dock station (Genuine Apple but not original issue) - NO manual. Working. Menu items and settings work. Backlight and click noise toggle. Box has wear and a couple of tears. Inside storage compartments are good. Apple genuine product. Cord on toggle switch has yellowing from age, toggle still working changes volume and songs. Will film when I pack it up to confirm it is working. These iPods have 20 year old batteries, so it may need a new battery if you’re planning on actually playing it on a regular basis. All accessories also working as well. It is working and charging as it should currently. Sold as is. These older higher GB iPods can need battery replacement. I will video this one as I pack it up showing it is charging and in working condition.
