Beautiful, rare and unique hand-sewn women's peacoat, brand is Lassie Junior, Union Made. Color is lovely light butter yellow/cream. I would say fits like a women's 2-4, measurements in photos. The coat is in vintage condition, it needs some love and I've never gotten around to trying to fix it up more. The buttons have sadly started to bleed onto the fabric, I'm assuming they're copper or nickel. The coat is fully lined, I've shown a picture underneath the back lining where you can see the hand sewn panels. The hem has possibly been altered from its original and has been hand sewn back up, the stitches are just visible from the outside. It's a beautiful coat but needs some TLC, would also be perfect for a costume!
Please see photos for measurements and feel free to reach out with any questions!

i loveeee this coat so much and the measurements are exactly the same as my favorite rain coat of the same style, do you think the bleeding from the buttons is washable?

@heyo_mayo23 Hi there!! I think it definitely could be, I honestly haven't tried but it's possible some of it might come out. The worst of the staining is on the inside of the coat and not visible which is good at least. If you want I can try spot cleaning the inside of one of the stains to see if it lifts at all?

@heyo_mayo23 If it does come out I would probably recommend changing the buttons out, I know they're super cute but I worry they will re-bleed onto the fabric.

@gracerose93 ohh new buttons is a good point, and it’s okay I wouldn’t want to cause a hassle for you, I’m still not totally sure about it, because I specifically want a coat that looks good with most of my clothes and is a slightly warmer alternative to my rain coat, but I can’t tell from the pictures how warm this coat really is? like if it is reasonably warm (like for a 50 degree F day) or if it is more just for looks……

@heyo_mayo23 No worries! It's definitely warm, I could never wear it because it was too thick for where I lived. I suspect it's a wool blend of some sort.
