Rare Vintage Trudy Jr. of California Crochet Top Jacket Rare 1950’s Deadstock

Trudy Jr. of California Rare 1950’s crochet top or jacket with tag (half a tag) . A rare vintage beauty with exceptional craftsmanship in the crochet and was probably hand crocheted. The top has front covered buttons with hidden inside snaps.There is matching trim on front.hem and sleeves and it is fully lined with a champagne beige satin. The sides have 2.5 “in slits . Colors do vary from lighting but it is a creamy beige. Fit - size Small 2-4 (no size or fabric tag ) Measurements: Shoulder width 15.5 Underarm to underarm 16.5” Waist 17” Length top middle to hem 18” Sleeve length 17” Sleeve opening 6.5 diameter Care - Hand wash delicate fabric cleaning detergent and hang to dry Condition: The overall condition is very good and there are no noticeable loose threads. There is an area top right shoulder shown last picture where the fabric may need a few stitches as it appears to be missing a bit of threads but the fix is easy This is not noticeable. The top has been hand washed and lightly pressed. With vintage clothes it is best to use cool steam iron, especially for lining. The crochet on this piece is beautifully made and the threads are heavy and good quality. I love to mix Vintage with modern as shown in 1 st picture with a Ramy Brook skirt. Trudy of California Jr is a highly coveted brand for the quality and fashion of the day. It is rare for a piece to have tag or half of a tag. She is a beauty.
