Exquisite vintage sterling silver drop earrings, stamped 925 by hand. The hallmarks have softened with time and wear, but the sterling stamp remains visible. Each earring features a faceted black crystal center framed by pavé Austrian crystals, known for their brilliance and fine cut. This style reflects boutique craftsmanship of the 1970s, when Austrian and European jewelers combined sterling silver with Swarovski-quality crystals for export to high-end shops. My grandparents traveled extensively, including to Austria, and these earrings were acquired during that period — part of a collection where only fine sterling and artisan jewelry were purchased, never costume.
