Rare Vintage Celine "Hobo Bag"

This is a very rare vintage Celine “Hobo Bag.” Black leather with silver hardware (the lighting makes it look gold in some photos but it is silver), two straps and beautiful red leather interior. Its overall condition is good – some wear and surface marks in the leather (see photos). There is one portion of the strap that needs love (again, see photos). The hardware is shiny with minor scratching commensurate with its age. The red leather interior has a zipper compartment and a label for Celine Paris, Made in Italy. In good condition as well, it does show signs of usual wear around the zippered pocket. The only versions we could find of this bag online sold at the “Vestiaire Collective” for $370.00 and one on Instagram asking $1,024. There is something similar on 1stDibs in purple for over $1,300. New Celine Hobo Bags cost well into the thousands. It is priced to move at only $225. Look carefully at the photos; we try to be completely candid about the quality and condition of the bag. This is vintage Celine, 50+ years old, and looks fantastic for its age. Its dimensions: height is 13.8” and the width is 11.8”.
