Rare Vintage 14K Gold Art Deco Enamel Key to My Heart Padlock Charm 1930s

This is a rare and remarkable Art Deco era, 14K yellow gold Key to My Heart Padlock charm that was crafted in Austria back in the 1930s. The original jump rings attached, as well as the heart's enamel which appears to be original, all indicate that this charm is Austrian. The craftsmanship of this piece is outstanding! The heart is intricately enameled in red. The shackle of the lock is slightly movable and seems like it may open, but the key does not appear to fit correctly in the lock. Perhaps this piece was just crafted this way. I have not attempted to try to get the padlock open. This charm is pictured on top of a US dime for size comparison and is in excellent condition. This lovely Art Deco Key to my Heart charm will make a wonderful addition to a charm bracelet, collection, or a gift to a sweetheart!
