Rare VTG 80s Earcuffs - Made in Italy

Fabulous Vintage 1980s Earcuffs. Retro 80s, Rarish Idemaria Il Quartorecchino, Ear Cuffs, Swarovski Crystals on Gold Metal, Made in Italy, Like New I think it's pretty safe to say these ear cuffs are on the rarish side. There isn't much information available on Sonia De Maria, the 1980s Milano, Italy designer, other than what I could find on her "Idemaria" trademark — not that these ear ornaments lack identification marks. There are several on each earring! The right earring is signed "Patented" and "Il Quartorecchino (R)" which means ear charms (i.e., they do not need holes, posts or clips to wear). The left earring is signed "made in italy", "Brev" and "Idemaria". "Brev" (Brevetto) is an Italian licensing term. Quality-wise these ear charms are exceptional. Condition-wise they are exceptional. Design-wise they are exceptional. Comfort-wise they are, yes, exceptional and more comfortable than you might imagine. And, lastly, fashion-wise they look (why, yes) exceptional on. Each earring measures 1-1/4" across and a little over 1-1/2" long, but the showy part is 5/8" wide and tapers down.
