Rare Tribal Face Head Mask Terracotta Vintage Sculpture Statue African Art Man

I’m not exactly sure what this item is and Google search gives me a different description every time I take a picture at a different angle. It’s made from terracotta or clay and painted black. It’s fairly thick and heavy. It measures about 11 inches by about 7 inches and it’s about 4 1/4 inches thick. It could be a death mask and made when someone passed away or African tribal mask. Or a few other possibilities too. No matter what this is an incredible piece that’s sure to impress and be a talking point.
