Rare Talbots Plus Size Chatham Pants in Beige, size 18WP (equivalent to 16W)

These lovely Talbots Chatham ankle pants in a plus petite size were only offered for 6 weeks in 2019. They were quickly replaced by Hampshire pants in the Women's Plus and Plus Petite Sizes due to fit issues (needed a smaller waist and hips than the average Talbots Plus Size customer). Note that these pants fit smaller than the typical 18WP Talbots pants. These pants are preowned, gently worn, and have no marks or stains. They were never placed in a dryer so there has been no shrinkage. My experience as a fit specialist at Talbots taught me that most women are not willing to go up a size to get the fit they need, so the fuller Hampshire pant replaced the skinny Chatham in all plus size trousers. These pants have two welt pockets in the back, a 7 inch nylon side zipper, and a partially elasticized waist band. The waist lacks belt loops so the front is completely flat. These stone/beige colored trousers are the perfect three season ankle pant that is both office and casual wear appropriate. Garment fiber content and laundry care labels among the photos. I recommend laying flat to dry after washing and ironing the pants using light starch for the best result. Smoke-free home, pet-free storage (no pet hair or dander).
