maureenleahy219 @cache_luxe I’ been wondering about these. Most I’ve seen have the Sotheby’s label on the back, and now , on your landscape, Christy’s. Can you share any info you found? Were they auctioned at those houses, or sold another way with fixed prices? I think they were produced 2 ways. One with a fixed painting done after the frame was done, and painted in the center. The other has independent paintings done and installed in the frame. Thoughts?
