Rare Signed Hand Painted Ceramic Cat Bird Design Sitki Olcar Turkish Ceramicist

One of a kind addition to your cat collection. This is a hard to find signed cat by Turkish master ceramicist Sitki Olcar (1948 - 2010.) He is best known for his bowls featuring boats & sea scenes but he also did figurines such as these using traditional designs from his native Turkey. I could only find a very few cats and all of them were blue & white, this is the only one I could find in these colors and with the bird design. Size: 5.25" l x 5" h x 2.5" w Condition: Excellent condition. The piece has a fine crackle glaze which is typical for his work. There is a tiny glaze skip on the head (see photos) I think this is part of how it was made but wanted to mention it. Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever".
