Rare Romer Mid-Century Hand Carved Wood Statue of Unnamed Man

This is hand carved well-dressed black man with a bow tie. I've researched and cannot find another one like this one. Made mid century. This carving is in very nice vintage condition. I found a very small scuff above his right eye and there is a small part of his mouth that is a lighter color of wood. Romer has many different statues: doctors, bankers, sportsmen, Etc. But this distinguished black gentleman is a rare find. Stands at 11.5 inches tall and bases 4 1/8 by 3 1/8inches. Non smoking pet free home.
