Rare Original Vintage 1940’s Era “Dar-Lin” Wood Clutch Purse

A lovely, rare piece of fashion history. This is a 1940’s era Dar-Lin brand wooden, handcrafted clutch with intricate design. Perfect for a unique style statement or just as a collectors piece. This piece is an original made in St. Petersburg, FL where most of these style purses were being made at the time. It’s in overall very good condition considering its age. However like most pieces this old it is not without some flaws. It is still solidly intact but there are a couple surface blemishes, that unless looking it over, aren’t very noticeable. A couple fine scratches and some tiny spots of clear glue is what I found.. The fabric has also held up quite nicely but there are notable areas of fading or some discoloring from age. It is surprisingly clean inside and out and truly a unique and beautiful fashion piece and keepsake.
