Rare Mikimoto Ballpoint Pen unique purple Wave Guilloche in original box

This rare and highly collectable early example of their craftmanship showcases a mechanical textural pattern known as “Wave Guilloche”. Used at times to reference and hone Jules Verne and his historic literary works. This rare, unique, collectable ballpoint pen likely with its original ink was tested and writes as is which speaks volumes. Found in a drawer in its original leather case, with the paper outer case as well is a surprising find. There is confusing wear and tear on the leather box as shown in photos.
