Rare Madeira Citrine

This gorgeous, rich stone is a very sizable 3.36 carats, and measures 10.000 x 8.000 x 6.000mm. This stone is in the highly sought after rich Madeira Wine color and VS clarity, with a visible feather in its interior. I choose high quality Madeiras this way on purpose, as 1) The highest quality stones usually have high clarity with 1-2 inclusions, and 2) This is also one of the best ways to distinguish natural Citrine from synthetic. This one is visibly larger, although maybe a hair paler than the other Madeira citrine I recently posted. It's absolutely gorgeous, and would make a jaw-dropping, and rather imposing, center stone. Named for the rich wine produced in the Madeira Islands off the coast of Portugal, the rare and beautiful Madeira Citrines are a deep, rich wine color to them. Estimated to make up less than 1% of all citrines priduced in the world, the deep reddish orange color of these stones, along with their rarity, make them up to 10 times more valuble than regular citrines.
