Rare Late 19th Century Chocolate Pot Gold Gilt New England Pottery 1889-1895 VTG

New England Pottery East Boston Massachusetts Chocolate Pot with Lid Manufactured 1889-1895 Features, Semi-porcelain, White ground with gold lustre decoration, Cream border at tops and bottoms, Vinous floral motif in between borders in cream and gold leaf, stylized branch handle. No crazing. This is an extremely rare piece in fantastic vintage condition. Some of the gold on the handle has faded from decades of use. There is one fine line at the opening of the pot. The spots seen near the branches are gold gilt. Tried to show all of this in the last photos Measures approximately 8.5"H x5"W 6" spout to handle The NEP mark on the bottom is a crown and shield combined, printed on the glaze in red. This mark was only used from 1889 to 1895
