Rare LOUIS VUITTON Travel Case Luggage Tote French Company Shoe Bag Saks Fifth

This would be a PERFECT PIECE FOR A SHORT WEEKEND HOLIDAY! Wonderful Vintage French Company LV Case - made for protecting shoes and such, but can so SO MUCH MORE! This piece was called a Carry Aboard Lightweight Overnight Case in a vintage Saks Catalog. Perfect for ladies or gentlemen. This handsome piece was manufactured for demand in the U.S.A. - this was between the 1970's and early 1990's. Pieces were available through prestigious retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus along with a few other luxury luggage boutiques like Myers of Miami. Some pieces were even private labeled - this one was not however. Due to their limited time of production they are highly collectible. Vintage piece - it has seen travel to wonderful places, so as with any piece of luggage that has accompanied you during travel, there are a few bumps, smudges and scuffs here and there. The Monogram is vivid and crisp - looks beautiful. A few scuffs scattered about and a larger scuff pictured. Original Talon Zip runs very nicely, no key. The tanned leather is strong everywhere and the rolled handls feels nice in your hand. All leather is nice for it's age...a few rubs and such. Scuffing as pictured. Inside is espresso tone cordoroy and free of odors - looks nice inside..ready to pack and go! It measures 21" x 14 x 8" approx. Will be a great addition to your luxury luggage ensemble!
