Rare - Koos Van Den Akker Couture 60's/70's Op Art Print Silk Jersey Maxi Dress

This dress is a stunning, slinky, body con, silk jersey dress by the Dutch designer Koos Van Den Akker. The label appears to be a very early edition before he moved to NYC and created the KOOS label. This is part of his early couture line and may have been made soon after he left Dior. It has a drapey cowl neck, batwing sleeves, and a full skirt. It is quite long and was previously delicately hemmed a few inches, but the original hem is intact, see photos. Condition is excellent, considering its age. No holes or stains. The colorful Op art print seems Scandinavian inspired. This is a statement piece.
