Rare Japanese Frit Glass Bead Garnet Necklace

This stunning multi strand glass bead necklace features three strands of post WW2 frit glass beads most likely from the Cherry Brand factory. The beads were made by rolling the still hot milk glass beads in powdered glass called frit. The necklace originally had milk glass spacer beads, but was remade with the original findings with the addition of genuine garnet beads, adding rich color and raising the necklace to a whole new level!
