Rare Durwin Rice New York Signed Decoupage Ape Art Plate

Very good preowned vintage condition Durwin Rice of New York hand created decoupage plate features a unique ape set against a Renaissance style background on glass. Rich, Golden and yellow colors are accented by grays and black to feature a seemingly all knowing creature. This plate was created in 1994. Rice is known for decoupage.  there are a few wear scratches on the plate, which are difficult to see, but no chips or cracks. Measures 12.75 inches in diameter. 15-03074
