This is a rare near-complete set of Birks EPNS World War I commemorative spoons, made in Canada during the 1915–1920s period. These spoons were created to honor the Allied leaders of the First World War and the strength of the British Empire.
Each spoon features a detailed portrait of a key figure framed with decorative motifs. Birks released a core 12-spoon set, with extended “Empire” issues produced in smaller numbers. This set includes 11 different spoons and one Canada duplicate, including both core and extended series.
