gailweathers82 @emilyromanowski thanks for your comment but you are incorrect! I know my Alex + Ani very well (from RI and worked with them for a number of years). Kindly look at the turtle a little closer. 2016 was re designed, with a larger shell and beading around the shell. Thanks! 😊

emilyromanowski @gailweathers82 I actually worked at an Alex and Ani retailer too and this is most definitely the 2016 version and is still available on their site! Just want to make sure customers aren't fooled into purchasing something that's not what they think it is! 😊

gailweathers82 @emilyromanowski I was corporate, but thanks. I'm sure true Alex + Ani collectors will have the eye for the difference between this original and the new release. It is pretty easy to spot. This one (original) doesn't even have any texture on the arms, legs or head. Thanks, though! Do a quick side by side comparison on Google.
