These are New in Box Ralph Lauren Purple Label Durhams Bucks in Ivory Suede! They were made in England and I believe were produced for Ralph Lauren by Crockett & Jones. Originally purchased at Bergdorf Goodman, the shoes had a MSRP of $595 in the mid 2000s, which would be closer to $1000 now!
Sadly for my consigner, due to them not being worn the original outsole will need to be replaced. I have tried to reflect this issue in the price, but i am willing to negotiate. Thank you for your consideration!

Could you please tell me about the re-sole, do you know why entire sole needs restoration please?! Is it soft or disintegrating?! Thanks for your time and patience! Thanks in advance!

@modafor1 This is typically a larger problem in the sneaker community. Something about the rubber compounds used in shoe outsoles, if left unworn for a long period of time, they will start to deteriorate. If they are worn however, they won’t do that. It is not a quality control thing, more just how the industry standard performs.

@modafor1 I’m unsure how they will perform if a buyer purchased the shoes and decided to wear them. To my knowledge they are showing the early signs of this and for due diligence, I wanted to make sure this problem is addressed in the listing. The leather welt of the shoes is intact and should be good to go! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

@salvagedprep thank you so much for taking your time to explain this to me and I think I understand it a little better now! It’s not something that actually is going on now but something that “may happen” according to the industry! Thanks again for your kind reply!
