At 27 inches long, and 25 inches pit to pit, this lovely richly pink linen tunic is classy and flattering, even "hot." Simple organic floral same-color embroidery, either side of the mandarin collared opening, and at the center just below the neckline, gives it a distinctive, unusual flair. The linen in this gently loved garment is flawless and substantial, not tissue thin. By needing no modesty lining, it is cooler during summer months than semi-transparent "lighter" lined linen with the two layers of fabric. The line of the tunic hews along the line of the torso, stopping at mid-hip for many, higher hip for the taller wearer, and lower hip for petites. In framing, not concealing the body, this hip length calls for sandals and loose linen pants and skirts, or else, for statement trousers, pleated skirts, and/or non-skinny jeans. If spring or summer evenings turn color, it looks great topped with a blazer, jeans jacket, a mojo or other leather/suede coat, or a light linen open cardigan.
