Gorgeous Raku vase Cream with gray crackle studio art pottery Felt on base to prevent surface damage Measures approximately: 4.5 inches tall x 4 inches wide x 2 inch diameter at mouth (opening) Signed by the artist: the late, Chic Darnell, of Monroe, Louisiana. After serving in WWII and later retiring, Chic became interested in wheel thrown pottery and built his own Raku kiln and made beautiful pottery pieces right here in LA. Item is numbered 1 7-12. This is not the date it was made, as the late Darnell passed in 2011. Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks, flea bites, or stains. This vase has been used as a display piece and has been kept in a curio cabinet indoors since purchased in the mid 2000's. Item has been cleaned and sanitized. Clean, Smoke free home.
