Each hand made vessel is fired in an outdoor kiln to 2000 degrees fahrenheit. While still molten hot, it is then placed in a pit with dried brush & mesquite shavings that burst into flame. Each handcrafted Raku gift is fired in an outdoor kiln. Red hot, it is pulled from the kiln & placed into a pit with wood shavings.
