RUNNING RED FOX TIE BAR - MbTDDRBr1

A swift red fox runs through the fields, jumping over obstacles. This gold tone tie bar brings a sense of action as he appears to be running and leaping. The tie bar is 2-1/8-inches long x 1/4-inch high. The red fox adornment is 13/16-inch-long x 7/16-inch high. The tie bar has a pinch clip on the reverse. Pre-owned, tie clip is in very good vintage condition. There is a very small ding at the bottom near the folded end of the tie bar; shows black in the photos. There is minimal surface scratching. Red foxes are about three feet long & two feet tall with red fur across the face, back, sides, and tail, but their throat, chin, and belly are grayish white. They have excellent hearing and can hear low-frequency sounds and rodents digging underground. Although preferring rodents and rabbits, the red fox will also eat birds, amphibians, and fruit, as well as anything that is available. Having long snouts aids in their fantastic ability to find food, even during the winter, which is one reason why red foxes have a reputation for being cunning and smart. While other large predators have been pushed away from human development, the solitary red foxes live in parks and woodland edges, so it is easy for them to hide and escape people.
