The White Oak Cone Mills plant opened 112 years ago and provided beautiful quality pieces of denim for many top manufacturers for a century. The denim's edge has a clean finish; since it will not unravel, the fabric's edge is used as the garment's outseam. This item is made from deadstock American-made selvedge denim. Crafted from 12oz selvedge denim from Cone Mills' White Oak factory. It features a straight fit, a zippered front, and a sizing pattern that takes into account the fabric's inherent shrinkage after washing. While still produced by a factory that still exists, this is a brand that produces items only occasionally.This is extremely rare American-made selvedge denim.
